Tasmania

A number of different organisations are involved in water management in Tasmania. However, there are now three council owned water corporations responsible for the management of water and wastewater services, including the enforcement of water restrictions.

• Southern Water
  Tasmania’s largest water and wastewater provider, servicing over 95,000 customers in 12 southern council areas.
• Cradle Mountain Water
  Providing water services for Burnie, Central Coast, Circular Head, Devonport, Kentish, King Island, Latrobe, Waratah, Wynyard & West Coast Tasmania.
• Ben Lomond Water
  Provides water services to Break O’Day, Dorset, Flinders, George Town, Launceston City, Meander Valley, Northern Midlands, and West Tamar Councils.
