Queensland Urban Utilities is the fourth largest water utility in Australia supplying high quality water and wastewater services to more than 1.3 million residents in South East Queensland. Our service area covers 14,364 square kilometres in the Brisbane, Ipswich, Lockyer Valley, Scenic Rim and Somerset local government areas. Each year, Queensland Urban Utilities supplies around 105,000 megalitres of tap water to residents, provides around 35,000 megalitres of recycled water to businesses and removes and treats the sewerage and waste generated by our residential and trade waste customers.
