European Water Partnership

The European Water Partnership (EWP) is an independent non-profit organization with a concrete value base: The Water Vision for Europe. The EWP coordinates initiatives and activities in international water issues and undertakes worldwide promotion of European expertise related to a more sustainable water management.

As part of its European Water Awareness Program and more concretely the Aquawareness initiative in order to move Europe towards a resource efficient and sustainable water culture, targeting political decision makers, key stakeholders and European citizens, the partnership with the savewater! awards® is more than obvious.

The objectives of the savewater! awards® are in line with EWP’s committement towards (a) the acknowledgement and promotion of outstanding innovation and excellence in sustainable water practices, (b) the encouragement of innovation and actions by business, government, schools and the social community and the (c) raising awareness for a sustainable future based on water conservation and efficiency.

EWP supports the Australian initiative to boost the knowledge and visibility of water heroes both at national and international level by facilitating their European impact and awareness through the Aquareness portal and we thank the organizers for giving us the opportunity of being part of the jury. We believe that winning a savewater! award® helps many individuals and organizations in their efforts to spread the water conservation message, and assist other members of the community to use water more efficiently as well as creating business and funding opportunities.
