   Water conservation is now embedded in the psyche of most Australians. The focus to date has been on reduced water usage – the two-minute shower. But even with short showers the water still needs to warm up to a comfortable temperature. Joeycan is designed to catch clean water as the water temperature adjusts. Joeycan combines the functionality of a bucket and a watering can; this makes Joeycan unique with no direct competitors. Joeycan’s unique design features a catchment surface that exposes a large surface area when lying prone – flat on the floor. The catchment surface is designed to minimize bounce-off as the water droplets hit the catchment surface. Another unique design feature is the shaped spout that enables Joeycan to fill whilst lying in the prone position. In the standing position Joeycan is compact and occupies a minimum amount of space on the shower floor. Joeycan has a 6kg capacity, which means its maximum weight is suitable for all users – young through to the elderly. Joeycan’s integrated design makes carrying when full easy and spill free. Joeycan has been designed and developed by two Australians and manufactured in Melbourne.
