 How does it work? The Winns Water Saver system redirects the cold water from the hot water line to a holding tank in the ceiling. As a result, no water comes out of the tap until the hot water arrives. The water in the holding tank is then gravity fed to operate all toilets in the house. The supply of water to the toilet, consequently, requires no power. The holding tank is also fitted with an overflow to a rainwater tank, which allows the water to be used in the garden. Additionally, an emergency back up from mains pressure is fitted to the holding tank. The Winns Water Saver works on any hot water tap and requires a licensed plumber for installation. Product awards
