| StormTank - shallow stormwater detention (any volume) Azuratec |
|
Extra shallow detention for flat land Azuratec StormTanks offer a 'no-hassle' affordable alternative for stormwater detention on sites with limited fall to the legal point of discharge (LPD). Typically installed beneath a driveway, each StormTank is only 300mm deep and can sit as little as 400mm from the surface. Designed by a builder, customers find StormTanks ideal for sites which are relatively flat where the cost or soil conditions make excavating deep holes for culvits impracticle. StormTanks are suitable for residential developments where increased hard surface roof and ground run-off can momentarily exceed the council stormwater capacity. Both the volume (measured in cubic meters) and water flow orifice can be modified to meet engineering requirements. Azuratec deliver and install all systems including an entry pit and exit pit with a trash screen to filter the incoming water. Best of all, StormTanks don’t require deep holes and shoring which can be costly, messy and risk workplace safety on the building site. They simply sit on a level sand base beneath the driveway and are concreted in place. Benefits for the builder and engineer
Being an Australian innovation, the development of SlabTanks involved the expert contributions of hydraulic, structural, acoustic, thermal and material engineers. System volume
