Safe, silent and odourless - recycled greywater

Not reliant on rainfall, the Oasis GT600 quietly creates crystal clear water from a home's dirty greywater as it's produced in the bathroom and laundry. The process is odourless, continuous and automatic requiring no involvement from the home owner. Using very little energy, the amazing biological process simulates a natural ecosystem and can recycle over 50% of the home’s mains water providing a significant saving on the water bill.

Unlike settling tanks, diverters and separators, the Oasis GT600 actually recycles the greywater making it safe for re-use in the toilets, in the laundry and 'above ground' outside on lawns, garden beds and for washing the car. The recycled water is disinfected which also makes it safe for human contact and for irrigation of fruit and vegetable gardens.

An important ecological benefit of the Oasis GT600 is that the recycled greywater is discharged at pH 7.0, a neutral level which doesn’t effect soil fertility.The treatment process is chemical free, so no chlorine or other chemicals (which contribute to the depletion of the ozone layer) are added to the environment.

An additional benefit of the system is that it decreases the harmful effects of high levels of phosphorus to 3 mg/L which at this concentration acts as a natural fertiliser to the benefit of the garden.

The process

The Oasis GT600 process is fully automated, quiet and odourless. No scheduled user intervention is required because the system backwash process cleans itself. Water recycling is achieved in three steps:

1. Pre-screening removes lint and other coarse materials to prevent blockages and fouling of the system. The greywater tank has an aeration system installed to prevent the greywater from becoming septic;
2. Greywater is then pumped to the treatment column within the processor, where it flows down through a bed of proprietary media. Contaminant removal is achieved through filtration, adsorption and biological treatment;
3. Ultraviolet (UV) disinfection completes the treatment process before water is stored for reuse in the recycled water storage tank.
