   What is HydroShare?
HydroShare is an innovative web-based reporting system that enables water authorities and their irrigation, industrial, commercial and institutional customers to further their knowledge and understanding of their water consumption.
HydroShare’s on-line, real-time monitoring and reporting system allows customers to make business decisions which can reduce water use and costs and improve their commitment to the environment.
In many cases customers also save more money from reducing power used for heating and pumping of additional water.

How does it work?
Data loggers installed at customer sites feed information into a central internet portal via email data packages through existing communications networks. Customers can securely access this information 24 hours a day for up to date information from anywhere in the world at any time without the need to install proprietary software.
Recorded data is viewable for trends, via tables and other graphical display measures, simplifying the process of information sharing. Using this innovative method, historical comparisons can be achieved and operational decisions can be made faster and more accurately. Data can be extracted into spreadsheet for other reporting means but the site itself has a powerful, freely selectable reporting platform for event and general info.
