Greenclean Laundry Balls are an innovative, simple and efficient way to drastically reduce your washing machine water usage and are greywater compatible.
Greenclean Laundry Balls are made of recycled plastic and contain pellets that gradually dissolve over an average use of 30 washing loads. The ball can be refilled then used over and over again.
These pellets do not contain detergent, soap, perfume, harsh chemicals, Phosphorus, Boron, ABS, LAS or SAS. They are hypo allergenic and suitable for use with childrens and babies clothing.
Washing machines perform a "deep rinse cycle" to remove the detergent residues from the fabric fibres, otherwise they will dry stiffly and irritate the skin. Because the Greenclean Laundry Ball does not contain detergent, there is no need for additional rinse cycles, the surfactants remove the dirt at the end of the wash cycle.
Also because the refillable balls are light and compact, they take up very little room, are easy to transport and have minimal landfill impact.
