 Drippers and tricklers are amongst the most effective ways of watering pots, hanging baskets, garden beds and borders and vegetables and crops. Drippers are ideal for garden watering because they have very low application rates. Because the water drips or seeps out at a very slow rate, water reaches the root zone where it is most needed. And because water is applied directly to the soil there is minimal evaporation or loss of water through wind drift. Drippers and tricklers are available in a fixed rate of discharge, or adjustable flow versions. Pope drippers are available in styles that emit 2, 4 or 8 litres an hour, or in variable flow styles. Tricklers are similar to drippers, except they have multiple water outlets, and will water a wider area than drippers. Tricklers have variable rates of discharge. Drip Eze is an all in one rollout drip irrigation system. The discreet brown tubing with two litre per hour drippers inserted at 30cm spacings, delivers water at a slow consistent rate. Installed above ground or buried under mulch Drip Eze delivers water directly to the palnts' root zone minimising water loss to run off. Available in fitted and unfitted coils and in various lengths, you can build a Drip Tube system to suit your garden’s needs. The Pope Water Weeper is made from 60% recycled rubber and is one of the most efficient ways to water your garden. Water seeps slowly into the ground through thousands of tiny pores.
