Hunter Water
Hunter Water is a State-owned corporation providing water and wastewater services for more than half a million people in the lower Hunter region.
Our vision is to be the leader in sustainable water services and utility solutions for our customers. We take very seriously our responsibility as environmental stewards and we are committed to integrating sustainability principles into the way in which we plan, build and operate.
We have structured our planning around three key areas – dams, water efficiency and recycling – as outlined in our H250 Plan. H250 is a long-term strategy to meet the water supply needs of the lower Hunter, now and into the future. We know that if we can save water – by the way we operate our network and by helping customers to save water – everyone in the Hunter region benefits.
