Hunter Water provides water and wastewater services to around 520,000 people in the six local government areas of Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Cessnock, Port Stephens and Dungog in the Lower Hunter region of New South Wales.
At Hunter Water, water efficiency and conservation has been identified as an integral part of our strategy to meet our customers future water needs. If we can save water - by the way we operate our network and by helping customers to save water - everyone in the Hunter region benefits.
As a result, we have developed a range of water saving programs and education initiatives, that integrate with important national and state programs to help our customers save water.
