- Dairying for TomorrowDairying for Tomorrow - 'Sustaining Our Natural Resources' is a partnership project of Dairy Australia (DA), the National Land & Water Resources Audit and the Australian Dairy Farmers (ADF).
The project's core objective is to ensure dairy industry development and growth is sustainable - both environmentally, economically and socially. The project has:
- assessed the sustainability and best practice management
- surveyed current practice, production opportunities and attitudes amongst dairy farmers and other members of the industry; and
- developed programs to promote the adoption of best practice management.
- Dairy AustraliaDairy Australia's Information Research Centre (IRC) provides an information service to Australian dairy farmers. The service includes information bulletins, publications, research and general inquiries.

- South East Natural Resources Management Board (SA) – Irrigation for ProfitThe Irrigation Efficiency Project is a three year project to improve irrigation efficiency and management in the south east of South Australia.
The project consists of range of programs including:
- Irrigation for Profit workshops, introductory and comprehensive series.
- Innovation grants available to irrigators to promote profitable irrigation practice and sustainable resource management (next round available in September 2005).
- Information on the Catchment Board’s web site and information sheets developed as the project progresses.
- Development of six on-farm surface irrigation case study sites in the Upper SE.
- Economic study to evaluate incentives to encourage adoption of proven management practices and efficient irrigation systems.
- Queensland Rural Water Use Efficiency InitiativeA partnership between industry and government to improve the use and management of available irrigation water, thereby improving the competitiveness, profitability, and environmental sustainability of Queensland's rural industries.
Adoption programs have been established to help farmers achieve best practice in irrigation water management on their properties.
