The more stars, the more water efficient the washing machine! The most efficient washing machines currently on the market have achieved a 4.5 star rating and still wash clothes effectively. They may be more expensive than lower rated products, but in the long run they will save on water and energy bills, making them a cost-effective investment. The Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards (WELS) Scheme has a rinse performance test built into the rating, so you know your clothes will come out clean. |
