The purpose of the savewater!® plant library
The savewater!® Alliance believes plant selection is a critical component of water efficient gardening. Most people do not appreciate the range and quality of water efficient plants available to the Australian gardener. Similarly many people have not experienced the benefits of a lush, attractive garden that requires no additional watering.
The plant selector recommends plants that have proved to be both water efficient and popular with gardeners. Plants in the library are attractive, robust and will grow in a wide range of conditions.
Research on gardening has shown it to have psychological, social, physical, environmental and even climatic benefits. At the savewater!® Alliance we believe gardens are an under rated and critical component of living sustainably in the 21st century.
