Environmental Sustainability education program
It has been noted that 'Sustainability' is a cross curriculum priority of the new Australian Curriculum, and in the draft of the Australian Geography Curriculum (2010) for Years 7 – 10, it states:
"Much of the content and approach are based on the 'Living Geography' concept developed as a way of engaging students in geographical thinking that relates to their own lives and experiences."

With the above in mind, savewater!® developed the Living Geography education program incorporating a series of worksheets and projects to assist teachers to incorporate environmental sustainability into their classes.
In addition to the worksheets available below a complete set of Teacher's Guides are available providing answers to questions, suggesting classroom strategies and highlighting when additional resources such as local area maps are required.
Like the worksheets, the Teacher's Guides are available FREE OF CHARGE. The guides are available to teachers by registering at the link below. For a limited time you could win your school $1,000 by simply registering to receive the Teacher's Guides*.
